One sheet for recording, recalling, and summarizing

The Cornell format separates the page into a main note area, a cue column for questions or key ideas, and a summary area below.

Adjust column width and note spacing for classes, reading, or meetings without losing the method's structure.

Cornell notes questions

How do I use the Cornell method?

Take notes in the large area, add questions or keywords in the cue column, and write a short summary when you finish.

How wide should the cue column be?

A width of 50–60 mm usually fits short questions comfortably. Make it wider if you prefer more complete side notes.

When should I write the summary?

Write it after reviewing the notes, when you can explain the topic clearly in your own words.
